MILF Rendezvous: Batman Forever

The Amazing Spider-Man, a reboot of the Spider-Man saga, kicked off the vault’s salute to superheroes a couple weeks back. Back in 1995, there was no such need to dub a film a reboot. In retrospect, Batman Forever with its new director, new lead actor, and new direction might have benefited from the distinction.

Amid the bright city lights of Gotham, Batman (Val Kilmer) swoops in and foils the duplicitous Two-Face’s (Tommy Lee Jones) heists again and again, but Two-Face always escapes to terrorize another day. Doffing the cape and cowl, Bruce Wayne visits Wayne Enterprises where his passionate employee, Dr. Edward Nygma (Jim Carrey), pitches his 3D TV breakthrough. After Wayne dashes the pushy Nygma’s hopes, Edward discovers an interesting side-effect to his invention which he exploits as the Riddler, Gotham’s newest villain and Two-Face’s partner in crime. As the devious duo embark upon a crime spree, Bruce Wayne doubts his mantle as Batman after meeting the bold psychologist Dr. Chase Meridian (Nicole Kidman) and taking in the brash Dick Grayson (Chris O’Donnell).
