Gary Gygax, co-creator of the Dungeons & Dragons role playing game died Tuesday, March 4, 2008. This man was responsible for my lack of focus and direction from middle school onward, thanks to the countless hours of enjoyment I derived from fantasy books and gaming campaigns inspired by his work. The geek in me sheds a tear for Mr. Gygax, and all of my characters his rules helped kill.
My condolences to his family.
